This salsa prep drill sequence is a great exercise to train your balance, quickness, agility and response speed in your preps. I will keep this one very short and sweet. All you need to do is go back and review all of the notes from day 16. Then when you feel comfortable with you preps go from one prep to the other over and over again.
- Keep your weight centered and balanced.
- Keep the feet turned out.
- Use your hips to twist.
- Transfer you weight between your feet cleanly and completely for each prep.
- Don’t squat and don’t throw yourselves into the prep. Focus on control and balance.
Repeat this as many times as you can to really feel the benefits of the drill. Do a couple sets if you can.
